Adult Star Chloe Amour Sells Her Likeness to Create AI Versions of Herself

From taking it all off to selling it all off, an adult film star has made the decision to sell her likeness to an artificial intelligence company as a way to significantly reduce the overwhelming pressures associated with her career in the adult entertainment industry.

The Chloe Amour AI model looks nearly indistinguishable from the real thing.

Chloe Amour, 33, has worked in the adult entertainment industry for many years. Still, the Las Vegas-based performer recently decided to let her virtual alter ego, which she has carefully curated, shoulder some of the workload when she is unavailable. In what is becoming a growing and noteworthy trend, many adult entertainers are increasingly utilizing AI technology to effectively maintain their presence and engagement online.

“When I chat with my fans directly, sometimes there’s things that they want to talk about with me or there’s things that they want from me that I might not be able to give them,” she told the Daily Mail, per the New York Post.

“But through AI, they have the same likeness of me and it’s like I can be everything that they want me to be, in a sense.”

Amour made it abundantly clear that she’s not trying to trick her valued customers in any way.

“It’s very transparent because they’re aware that this is AI, it’s not me physically behind the device communicating with you — you know what you’re paying for,” she said.

An AI company recently approached Amour with an intriguing offer to create her virtual counterpart, promising a unique digital experience. For a substantial fee, she willingly provided the company with a variety of photos, videos, and personal details that would aid in accurately creating the AI version, ensuring it closely resembled her personality and characteristics.

She said that AI still feels “scary and weird” to her at times, but she appreciates the ability to lighten her workload.

“When you’re booked for (porn) shoots, you’re at the beck and call of that company,” she said. “You’re gonna be on set for anywhere between, four, six, eight, 10, 12 hours, who knows?”

It hasn’t all happened flawlessly.

“I should’ve signed up with them sooner because I would’ve gotten a bigger bonus!” she said with a laugh.

It’s all part of a new wave of innovative technology set to hit the adult entertainment industry. In some cases, enthusiastic fans can now create their own custom virtual partners, allowing them to personalize every detail from their appearance to their personality traits, hobbies, and even sexual preferences. Platforms such as CamSoda have taken this a step further by allowing users to build their own personalized AI “girlfriends,” which then become permanent features on the site, fostering a unique and tailored online experience for each user.

Greg Isenburg, CEO of Late Checkout, predicted that “AI girlfriends” will create $1 billion in business, saying in a recent blog that he met a man in Miami who admitted that he spends $10,000 per month on AI girlfriends.

Facebook and Instagram reportedly host thousands of explicit advertisements for AI-generated companions, as well as various applications marketed as “girlfriend” apps, which have gained significant attention in recent months.

Time will tell if the industry is ready to take this next step into AI adult content.
